Enewe builds The Curtailer: device-level curtailment control for solar installations. Rather than integrating with each inverter manufacturer's cloud API - a brittle approach that only ever covers the brands it has bothered to integrate - The Curtailer works at the electrical/device level, so it stays portable and inverter-agnostic regardless of who made the installation's inverter.
Why device-level control
Curtailment products that rely on a manufacturer's own API only work with the brands that API has integrated, and break when that API changes. The Curtailer's core control logic doesn't depend on any inverter brand exposing an API at all - it works regardless of your inverter brand, and regardless of whose API that brand does or doesn't expose.
What we build on
The simulation tool on this site runs against real day-ahead electricity price data and, once you describe a plant, real KNMI weather data through a pvlib/PVWatts solar-position model - not invented figures. Core curtailment control is free forever; the estimation and tracking built on top of it are paid options.
